Star-Spangled Salute at The Pavilion


The holiday festivities begin on Monday, July 3, 2017, with the Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute. The concert features a selection of patriotic favorites, American Classics, sing-alongs, and of course, Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” complete with cannons from atop the hill.  The concert begins at 8 p.m. at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and admission is FREE. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Fourth of July Parade


Wake up early on July 4th, put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade. The 1.3-mile parade begins and ends at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.The parade begins at 9 a.m., with marching bands, fire engines, clowns, horses and floats. A tent will be set up in front of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for senior citizens and the physically challenged to obtain relief from the summer heat. Roads in and near the route will be closed during the parade.
 

Splash Day


Cool off on the Fourth of July at one of the Township's community pools! The lifeguards at each pool will select a special theme and provide free activities and refreshments while supplies last. Pools will be FREE to all residents from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with activities occurring between noon and 4 p.m. 

“Things That Go” Bike Parade


Bring the kids to Northshore Park to decorate their bikes beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the “Things That Go” Bike Parade and Decorating Contest. Families are invited to parade their patriotically-decorated bike around the park with awards to follow. Decorating materials will be provided while supplies last, or you can bring your own. The event is free and open to children ages 14 and under. The parade and judging will take place during intermission at 7:30 p.m. 

Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza 


Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment,children’s activities and family fun at  multiple locations throughout The Woodlands from 6 to 10 p.m. This community-wide celebration offers fun for all ages.

The event culminates with the 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza over The Woodlands. The 20th Annual Red, Hot and Blue Festival will be larger than ever before, with multiple event and fireworks launch locations throughout The Woodlands.
