Touch-a-Truck event draws more than 3,000 spectators

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 28, 2017) – The Woodlands Township held its 11th annual Touch-a-Truck event that brought local companies together with residents who wanted to get an up-close look at vehicles and talk to the drivers. For 2017, there were more than 20 trucks from 13 local organizations on display for approximately 3,000 spectators.

The Woodlands Township would like to thank all the following companies and organizations for donating their time and vehicles as vehicle sponsors at the 2017 Touch-a-Truck event: Chick-Fil-A, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, The Woodlands Fire Department,  Montgomery County Hospital District – Ambulances, Waste Management, Harris County Constable’s Office - Precinct 4, Brightview, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Waste Connections of Texas, Milstead Automotive, Centerpoint Entergy and Cypress Creek E.M.S. The Woodlands Township would also like to extend a special thank you Waste Connections of Texas for participating in the event as a Big Rig Sponsor.

The Woodlands Township Touch-a-Truck event is a family-friendly event that allows participants to get an up-close look at a variety of trucks. The next event will be held February 17, 2018.
